Cooking a gingerbread house:

Step 1: prepare honey dough.

In a bowl with a knife, chop the flour with butter (before cooking, it is better to get their refrigerator to melt a little at room temperature), add 1 egg, sugar, honey, cocoa powder, baking powder and the listed spices. Mix everything thoroughly, knead to a homogeneous mass with your hands, and gradually add milk (it should also be at room temperature). The dough will turn out cool, roll it into a ball and wrap it in cling film or put in a polythene bag. Leave to come for 3-4 hours without changing the thermal conditions in the room.

Step 2: cut out the details of the gingerbread house.

In order to make the house smooth and neat, we will use thick cardboard. Take a blank sheet, pencil and ruler. The photo will help you to find out how the workpieces should look. Scissor cut out the details of the gingerbread house from cardboard. Its size, approximately, will be 20x20x20 cm. But, if you are an experienced cook, you can always vary the size of the building at your discretion. I do not recommend making a house too small, as the decor of the decoration will become flour for you. Too cumbersome is also not a pity to do, since it will be more difficult to fix it.

Step 3: cut out the details of the gingerbread house from honey dough ...

Before using the dough, it is worth mixing it a little more. Then, using a rolling pin, roll it out with a thickness of about 0.5 cm. Put the blanks on the resulting plate and with a knife around the details of the house. Also cut a round or square platform on which the gingerbread house will stand. In the details for the roof, make holes with a toothpick so that you can then thread a ribbon or ordinary thread there. Holes need to be made at a short distance from each other (2 cm) on one longest side of each roof. If the dough is still left, try cutting small Christmas trees.

Step 4: bake the details of the gingerbread house.

Lay out the details of the gingerbread house on a baking sheet covered with baking paper or greased with butter and bake in the oven at a temperature 200 degrees 15-20 minutes. At the end of time, remove and cool at room temperature.

Step 5: prepare the icing.

Separate the whites from 2 eggs from the yolks, this can be done by hand or using a separator, and beat the yolks into a tight foam with a blender or mixer. Then add the powdered sugar gradually while continuing to beat. Glaze should turn out very thick.

Step 6: collect the gingerbread house.

Cut the marmalade with a knife into thin slices (3-5 mm). Glue it to the windows with glaze. Grease the area and walls of the gingerbread house with glaze. Glue the walls of the house among themselves and glue it to the site. Wait for the frosting to harden. Using the ribbon, connect the details of the roof of the house. Glue the pipe to the roof with glaze. Put the roof on the house. Grease all parts as carefully as possible so that they are well fixed. Pay special attention to the "joints" at the main bonding points of the house, windows and doors.

Step 7: decorate the gingerbread house.

Put the remaining icing in the pastry bag. Draw gingerbread patterns on the gingerbread roof. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the walls and roof of the house. Also, with the help of glaze, attach Christmas trees to the stand. Using a felt-tip pen with food colors, you can draw a Christmas wreath above the door. If it is not, you can use all the same glaze, then simply decorate the wreath with colored food sprinkles. Put the resulting house in the refrigerator for 1 hour, so that it completely hardens.

Step 8: serve the gingerbread house.

The gingerbread house can be made even more magical. To make a surprise, you can put a small lit candle inside the building. To do this, carefully push it through the door. Just do not forget to ensure that the roof of the house does not burn from a candle. Thus, the windows will give a gentle candle light. You can serve such a dish with the light off. Enjoy your meal!
