Making cocktails with campari:

Step 1: A little bit about Campri Bitter.

Before you start making a cocktail, you need to talk a little about campri so that you have a little idea what it tastes like and what it is made of. To begin with, for the first time the bitter campri came to light 150 years ago, where it was introduced by an Italian (at that time) bartender named Gaspard Campri (where the name actually comes from). He is the first, and, perhaps, the only one who guessed to make a drink from the infusion of herbs and orange, so that the campri has a slightly bitter, but imprinted taste. Later, many winemakers tried to exceed the taste of the drink, but their attempts were unsuccessful. As a result, campri has become the only drink of its kind, which is currently used in almost all bars of the world for the preparation of various cocktails. And now, campri belongs to the group of alcoholic beverages that are made on the basis of herbs (bitter).

Step 2: Prepare a cocktail with campri.

We will prepare a cocktail directly in a glass. And for this we use the most common highball glass in bars. It is a tall glass that holds about 250 ml. a drink. In addition, it is indispensable in the bar, in the house, since most alcoholic (and not only) cocktails are poured into it. So, take highball and fill it half ice cubes. Then we pour in a glass of martini first, and then campri, and mix everything thoroughly with a bar spoon. Then add soda water.

Step 3: Serve a Campri Cocktail.

Decorate a glass with an orange slice and serve. At the same time, you can drink a cocktail in this form, or you can mix soda with martini and campri. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - If you did not find soda water, you can replace it with ordinary mineral water.

- - In some countries, such a cocktail is sold ready-made in small bottles, which is very convenient. Imagine buying some of these bottles, came home, and poured them into glasses of ice.

- By the way, Martini Kampri himself is not used in its pure form, and most often it is used specifically for making cocktails. At the same time, this drink can be combined with almost any other alcohol.

- - Bitter campri has a strength of 28%.
