Cooking meatballs with cheese and mushroom sauce:

Step 1: prepare the onion.

First, with a knife, remove the husks from the onion. Immediately after this, wash the ingredient well under running water. We spread the vegetable on a cutting board and chop finely into small squares the size of no more than 1 centimeter. After that, transfer the chopped onions to a clean plate.

Step 2: prepare the champignons.

We wash the mushrooms well under running warm water. After that, put the ingredient on a cutting board and, if necessary, cut off the spoiled legs. Grind the ingredient to your taste. You can cut the mushrooms into large pieces or cut into thin plates. The taste of this will not change for sure! Shred the champignons in a free plate.

Step 3: prepare the cheese.

For the preparation of meatballs with cheese, first of all, it is necessary to cut the hard cheese into small thin slices, which will be conveniently placed in the center of small meatballs. Therefore, we spread the ingredient on a cutting board and with a knife grind the dairy product. We put the cheese pieces in a separate plate.

Step 4: prepare minced pork and ground beef.

Pork and ground beef is best suited for cooking, as pork is juicy and soft in itself and during the cooking process it will secrete additional juice, which will soften the taste of beef. But first, you must first thaw the ingredient to room temperature. Therefore, we take the minced meat from the freezer and put it in a deep bowl, and the container itself, for now, set aside. Attention: mincemeat should never be defrosted in the microwave or using hot running water. After the meat is melted, add the egg, as well as salt and black pepper to taste. Mix the ingredients of the dish well with a spoon until smooth.

Step 5: prepare meatballs with cheese.

With clean hands, take a little mincemeat and form a small ball. Then put the meat ball on a cutting board and press it with your palm to make a cake. Then, we form one more ball and again we make a cake out of it. We spread several pieces of hard cheese on one tortilla and cover it with a second meat tortilla. Press the cutlets along the edge with your fingers. Attention: so that the stuffing does not stick to your hands, you can moisten your hands a little under running water. We repeat the procedure for the formation of meatballs with cheese until you have minced meat. After that, pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan and put the container on medium heat. When the oil warms up, make the fire less than average and gently spread the meatballs in the pan. Fry the meat ingredient of the dish on both sides until golden brown, turning the meatballs on the other side with a wooden spatula. We do not rush to put fried cutlets in a free plate, but carefully place them at a small distance from each other in a baking sheet.

Step 6: Cooking the Mushroom Sauce .

After we fried the meatballs, it is necessary to wash the pan and put it to dry again on medium heat. When the pan is hot, make a small fire and pour vegetable oil into the container. Immediately after this, without waiting for the oil to warm up, carefully spread the finely chopped onions into the pan. With constant stirring with a wooden spatula, fry the ingredient until it becomes soft and acquires a soft golden color. After that, if necessary, add a little more vegetable oil, and put the chopped mushrooms in a bowl with onions. Mixing everything well with a spatula, now we fry two components of the dish. When most of the mushroom liquid has evaporated, salt and pepper the ingredients to taste and pour into the cream container. Stir everything well with a spatula, simmer the ingredients of the sauce for another 5-7 minutes. Then we turn off the burner and proceed to the preparation of the dish itself.

Step 7: prepare the meatballs with cheese and mushroom sauce.

Pour our cheese balls, which are in a baking sheet, with hot mushroom sauce, and put in a preheated oven to temperature 200 ° C bake for 30 minutes. During this period of time, the minced meat will be finally cooked and the hard cheese will melt from inside the meatballs.
