Cooking salad "Christmas candle":

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.

In one pan, boil carrots, eggs and jacket potatoes. Then we grate the peeled boiled carrots on a fine grater, and potatoes already without their uniforms - on a large one. We clean the eggshells and separate the whites and yolks. Set aside one thing for the salad, and the remaining grated on a fine grater. On a nearby burner in a frying pan in a small amount of vegetable oil, ground meat should be fried (minced meat can be either beef or pork) with chopped onions, until cooked. Before adding to the salad, the overcooking must be cooled. Three cheese on a fine grater. To make this easier, you need to put the cheese in the freezer for several minutes.

Step 2: Preparing a salad dressing.

Dressing is very important in the preparation of this salad, so we will pay special attention to it. Although there is nothing difficult to prepare. In a deep plate, mix 3 of these ingredients (mayonnaise, mustard, sour cream), the taste can be adjusted according to personal preference. If you want sharper - add more mustard, if softer - then sour cream. When refueling is ready, you can go to the next step.

Step 3: Cooking the Christmas Candle Salad.

Puff salad, each layer needs to be slightly salted and greased with the resulting dressing. Laying out the ingredients of the salad, you need to adhere to the shape of a lit candle. If this is too complicated, you can lay out the salad in the form of a salad bowl or plate, we will still draw a candle, however, in my opinion, this is a less interesting option. The order of the layers is as follows: boiled grated potatoes, minced meat, fried with onions, grated squirrels. The last layer is also lubricated with dressing.

Step 4: Decorate the Christmas candle salad.

The protein and yolk that we set aside for decoration will also be grated on a fine grater and laid out like this: yolk is the candle flame, protein is the melted wax at the wick. Our candle will be yellow; grated cheese mixed with yolks will help us with this. A candle wick is a strip cut from prunes or olives. The candle flame is slightly shaded by orange - grated boiled carrot, and red - a small piece of red bell pepper. We decorate the bottom of the candle with dill leaves, which will play the role of spruce paws. We will also decorate them with a decorative bow made of bell pepper and "toys" made of yolk and protein. It turned out very beautifully! And to make the salad tasty and saturated, put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Step 5: Serve the finished Christmas candle salad.

This salad will decorate the New Year's table. It must be served chilled, but it should be in a good mood. Enjoy your meal!
